Tottenham have invite Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot to the club’s training ground in a bid to convince him to sign for the Londoners in the summer, reports talkSPORT.
With so much competition in the midfield for a starting place, Rabiot was seeking an exit to get regular first-team football. Having Thiago Motta, Yohan Cabaye, Marco Verratti and Blaise Matuidi all fighting for a starting place in the side has meant the young Frenchman has been on the periphery with the back-to-back Ligue 1 champions. Rabiot is 19, and has been hotly tipped for a bright future. There are a host of clubs in the market, but Tottenham are leading the chase.
As a result, Tottenham were looking to give the midfielder a new home in London, with manager Mauricio Pochettino likely to call upon French duo Hugo Lloris and Etienne Capoue to make the potential new arrival feel at home. Rabiot did sign a new deal with the Parisians in October, which initially ruled out an exit, but he’s reportedly unhappy with being frozen out of the club, and wants to seek out the clubs interested in his services.
