Arsenal can cement second place in the Premier League and put a little pressure on leaders Chelsea by seeing off a Burnley side that hosts North London opponents for the second weekend running.
A point against Tottenham was a decent result for the Clarets, but they will have been disappointed not to have created more chances having had few problems keeping a clean sheet. Furthermore, all of the other three teams in the bottom four managed to gain priceless victories.
Manager Sean Dyche fields a very attack-minded front four, and no player in the team works harder than George Boyd, whose industry has the potential to cause the in-form visitors plenty of problems. At the back, what Michael Duff lacks in terms of pace is more than made up for by his reading of the game.
A blistering start yielded no goals for Arsenal against an initially sluggish Liverpool in their last game, and they may have been forgiven for being anxious having been punished by Manchester United for similar sins back in November. However, a three-goal blitz in the minutes before half-time highlighted the immense confidence gained from their recent winning run.
It was all begun by Hector Bellerin, who along with fellow Spaniard Nacho Monreal has made a full-back position his own, and will have an interesting duel with Burnley counterpart Kieran Trippier. Alexis Sanchez will get through just as much work as Boyd, while Olivier Giroud will be looking to continue his hot streak.
Steven Reid and Ross Wallace should be back available for Burnley after injury, but Kevin Long and Dean Marney are likely to miss the remainder of the campaign.
Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Debuchy and Jack Wilshere are back in contention for Arsenal, who are hopeful over the fitness of Wojciech Szczesny and Laurent Koscielny. Meanwhile, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is definitely out.
