Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be considering his future at Real Madrid because president Florentino Perez’s unwavering support of Gareth Bale is getting under his skin, according to the Daily
Spanish paper Sport has claimed that there are a number of issues that Ronaldo has grievances with, including the support for Bale, the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti and the subsequent impending appointment of Rafa Benitez.
Ronaldo is believed to be deeply unhappy at the treatment of Ancelotti, and he had recently stated publicly on his Instagram account that he hoped to be working with the former Milan coach again next term.
Ancelotti was then given his marching orders just days later, and Ronaldo perceived this as a case of hie relationship with the Spanish giants as being one of convenience.
And in a move mirroring Yaya Toure’s outburst at Manchester City last year, Ronaldo feels that the club didn’t offer him enough support around the time of his 30th birthday back in February.
If this isn’t sorted out between the player, club, and Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes then the Portuguese megastar will surely be on his way out of the club in the coming months.
The Express believed that Paris Saint Germain are the frontrunners, but with former side Manchester United also interested it could prompt a rather expensive transfer scramble.
