Now favourites to be the final team to be relegated from the Premier League, Hull City have a critical game at Tottenham as they look to haul themselves towards survival.
They do at least come up against a Spurs side that is currently lacking goals in momentum, having been well beaten by Stoke City last time out. It was a performance that lacked energy throughout as they were second best from the first whistle, and costly mistakes led to goals that should have been avoided.
It almost seems as though the players are determined to avoid another season in the Europa League, which they have graced for the last four seasons. Harry Kane has not netted for three games, and Christian Eriksen has had little influence in recent matches, but they will be determined to mark their last home match this season with three points.
Hull are now in severe danger after they lost to now relegated Burnley and saw some of their main relegation rivals win last weekend. Just two games remain and they are in the bottom three, with Manchester United at home to come after this one, meaning they must upset the odds to stay up.
The Tigers are very capable of coming away with a valuable win here, but it would be a big shock were they to go down, considering the ability that lies within their squad. The injury to Mohamed Diame is a potential factor, while former Spurs midfielder Tom Huddlestone has been well below his best for much of the campaign.
Kyle Walker is still unavailable for Tottenham, who have doubts over Emmanuel Adebayor due to illness and are without Vlad Chiriches through suspension.
Hull continue to be without central defender and captain Curtis Davies along with midfielders Mohamed Diame and Robert Snodgrass. Loanee Gaston Ramirez has now been added to the list, as has Jake Livermore, who has been suspended by the club.
