Alexis Sanchez may be known for scoring sumptuous goals, but he’s not really known for tucking away diving headers.
However, during Friday night’s 5-0 thumping of South American minnows Bolivia in the final group game of their Copa America campaign he changed all that with one well timed flick of his head.
The Arsenal star has been one of the standout performers in the tournament so far, and has clearly carried his domestic form back home.
Helping his side claim top spot in Group A with seven points from three games, the Gunners star contributed to putting the woes of Arturo Vidal’s car smash earlier in the week behind them.
With Chile already a goal up against Bolivia, Sanchez started a move by cutting through the middle of the opponent’s defence before spotting his teammate rushing in out wide.
A deft pass lead to a pinpoint cross that found the diminutive forward’s head as he tucked the ball neatly away beyond the goalkeeper.
