Arsenal fans are being made to sweat as reports in the Metro are claiming that Real Madrid are making advances on a £21.4m move for popular defender Laurent Koscielny.
The France international is believed to be a key target for new Real coach Rafa Benitez, who wants to line him up alongside young compatriot Raphael Varane.
And now France Football journalist Matt Spiro believes that talks between the two are advancing with the Spanish giants set to lodge a £21.4m bid.

Koscielny has been one of the club’s most improved players in recent seasons, and someone they will be desperately keen to keep a hold of ahead of the new campaign.
However, with Sergio Ramos inching ever closer to a move to Manchester United, Real will be keen to snap him up to fill the void as Benitez begins to reshape.
This isn’t the first time a big European club have shown interest in Koscielny, though, as Arsenal had to fend off interest from Bayern Munich back in 2013.
