Chelsea are apparently ‘definitely interested’ in signing Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin this summer, that is according to the Metro.
A host of Premier League clubs are rumoured to be interested in taking him away from Loftus Road this summer, though he is believed to be keen to remain in the south as to not uproot him family, who are settled in Wiltshire.
That means the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle can effectively forget about making a move for him, and his £15m price tag is believed to be enough to scare off Crystal Palace, leaving champions Chelsea, West Ham, and Southampton in the hunt for his signature.
And it has apparently been put forward that Chelsea are ‘definitely interested’ in making a move for him, though they would need to offload Loic Remy first.
