Chelsea are said to have completed the signing of striker Radamel Falcao, according to reports in the Daily Star.
Manager Jose Mourinho last week admitted that he is interested in adding the Colombian international to his forward line, stating his desire to help him reach the heights he has previously enjoyed with the likes of Porto and Atletico Madrid.
And according to reports, the Blues have snapped up the 29-year-old, who spent last season on loan with Manchester United, but failed to settle, bagging just four goals in all competitions.
Portuguese newspaper Record are claiming that the Premier League champions struck a deal to bring Falcao back to England on Saturday night.
Record also believe that the deal will be announced at some point early next week, when Falcao’s involvement in the Copa America becomes more clear.
Colombia fell to a shock 1-0 defeat to Venezuela this weekend, as Salomon Rondon hit the only goal late in the second half.
