Chelsea are believed to be weighing up a summer move for Atletico Madrid stopper Diego Godin, according to the Metro.

The Uruguayan international is being tipped to make the move to the Premier League during the present transfer window, as Manchester United and Chelsea could be possible destinations.
Jose Mourinho is looking to add a new centre-back into the mix with John Terry and Gary Cahill and may seek to strike a deal to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
The 29-year-old has been one of the first names on the team sheet at Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid, playing a key role in helping the club to the La Liga title in 20013/14, before contributing with another 46 appearances across all competitions last term.
Former Uruguayan international defender Paulo Montero has hinted that a move away from the Vicente Calderon could be on the cards this summer, though he failed to cite either of the Premier League giants when discussing the move.
“Diego is currently the best centre-back in the world right now, perhaps joined by Giminez and Thiago Silva,” he told Spanish newspaper Marca.
“We’re talking about a player who’s played at the highest level for some time now.
“It’s his professionalism, ability to read the game, get forward and score goals that makes him the most complete.
“He would have no problem playing for Barcelona while I understand Bayern Munich are interested, but he has stated he is happy to remain in Madrid.”
