Former Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao apparently signed a contract with Chelsea on Monday to bring him to the club from French side Monaco, the Metro reports.
Colombian TV programme Gol Caracol believe that the deal will be announced on July 19 or 20 when the Blues are on a preseason tour of Canada.
Falcao failed to live up to his reputation at Old Trafford last season, firing in just four goals in 29 appearances for the club, and was subsequently sent back to parent club Monaco at the end of the campaign.
But reports suggest that Falcao has already signed a deal with the Blues worth a whopping £130,000-per-week.
Jose Mourinho has previously admitted that he is a big fan of the 29-year-old, and has outlined his desire to help him get back to becoming one of Europe’s most feared strikers once again.
Below is a video of Colombian journalist Javier Hernandez Bonett announcing the deal.
