Serie A champions Juventus are said to be ready to drop their interest in Chelsea playmaker Oscar to launch a move for Real Madrid star Isco, according to the Daily Express.
Reports in Italy are claiming that the Chelsea star is still their preferred choice, but the Blues’ reluctance to sell could prompt them to make a move for their ‘backup’ choice from Spain.
Furthermore, Oscar’s agent ruled out a move from Stamford Bridge for the 23-year-old, leaving Juve even more likely to spring for the Spanish international.
“It’s completely impossible and there is no truth to it at all,” Kia Joorabchian told calciomercato.it. “Oscar will not be leaving Chelsea.”
Juve can expect some competition in the form of Arsenal for Isco’s signature, though they both may find themselves priced out of a move thanks to the reported £106m buyout class installed in his contract.
