Former Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao is said to be trying to push through a move to join Chelsea before the Copa America kicks off in June 14, according to The Telegraph.

The Colombian hit man failed to make an impact at United last term, netting just four goals across all competitions. They subsequently sent him back to parent club Monaco last month, but he has been keen to join up with Blues boss Jose Mourinho ever since he discovered that he would be heading back to France.
Monaco are said to be looking for a £5m loan fee for the 29-year-old, and talks have been ongoing into how the two clubs will structure the deal, with Falcao said to be willing to take a cut on his £265,000-per-week wages.
However, Falcao has been named as the captain of the Colombian side for the tournament in Chile, and the former Atletico Madrid man is hoping to sort out his future before his side’s first game with Venezuela on June 14.
“It has been speculated a lot about my next team, but I tried to stay calm. I would like to continue in England, we’ll decide (my next team) in the coming weeks,” he said.
