Manchester United News and Goals
The World Cup winning defender is believed to have asked for a huge increase to his already sizeable salary – something that Real are not keen to match up to.
Ramos firmly feels that he is still one of the world’s best right-back-cum-centre-back’s in the world, and as such, wants to be paid accordingly for it, according to sources in Spain.
Real will likely look to complete negotiations at some point in the very near future, but Red Devils chief Louis van Gaal will be waiting to pounce should talks break down completely.
The 29-year-old joined Real Madrid back in 2005, and has since gone on to make 445 appearances for Real, scoring an impressive 55 goals along the way.
