Atletico Madrid defender Toby Alderweireld has revealed that he will soon hold talks with the La Liga side about his future, but admits that he hopes to come back to the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mirror, the centre-back is still unsure about where he will be next year, but left the door open to a return to England.
“I don’t have an answer now, but hopefully Atletico will tell me quickly what is happening. It would be good to come back to England,” he explained.
The 26-year-old spent last season on loan at Southampton, and impressed immensely during his time on the south coast. Ronald Koeman’s men surprised everyone by earning a spot in next year’s Europa League, having being considered favourites for relegation at the start of the campaign.
And the Belgian was a key component of the side, forming a formidable partnership alongside Jose Fonte. While only Chelsea conceded fewer goals than the St Mary’s side, the pair also embodied the club’s new ethos of playing attractive football all the way through the team.
The Mirror suggest that a return to Southampton may happen, however Chelsea, Tottenham, and Manchester City are all keen in the man who was a part of the Atleti side that came within minutes of clinching a league and Champions League double in 2014.
