Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are set to step up their apparent interest in bringing Santi Cazorla to the club this summer as a replacement for the departing Arda Turan, but the Daily Mail claim that it will only take an astronomical offer to convoke Arsenal to sell.
Diego Simeone has been keen to bring the Spanish international to the club for each of the past two transfer windows, but has missed out on both occasions, and the player himself even said that he is ready to snub a move to the Vicente Calderon this summer.
However, reports this weekend are claiming that Barcelona are set to splash out €35m on Arda Turan, and now Simeone wants Cazorla to replace the Turkish international.
Arsenal are unlikely to entertain any bids for the 30-year-old, though, as Arsene Wenger has earmarked him to play a role as his first choice attacking midfielder, meaning only a huge offer could tempt him into selling.
