Fenerbahce are set to continue their Premier League raid, by going after Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, according to the Daily Express.
If the Nigerian completes a move to the club, he may be playing alongside two former Manchester United stars, with the Express reporting that they completed a deal for Nani, while Robin van Persie is firmly on their radar.
The 28-year-old made only 18 appearances in the top flight last season, with just six of those coming from the start, as Jose Mourinho preferred to use Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas as his first-choice partnership to sit just in front of the back four.
And when one of the pair has not been available, he has often turned to Ramires, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek made an impression towards the end of last season, which has left Obi Mikel feeling as if he’s been placed on the scrapheap.
Despite his struggles to get into the side, there is little question that the midfielder has been a fantastic servant for the club and helped them achieve a lot of success.
