Former Cardiff City midfielder Gary Medel is reportedly keen on sealing a move to Liverpool this summer, according to the Metro.
Now with Inter Milan, he has been linked with a return to the Premier League with Liverpool as manager Brendan Rodgers looks to make some additions to his midfield numbers in the coming weeks.
Inter are hoping to keep hold of the Chilean international, but recent reports from Spain are now suggesting that he would be open to a move to Liverpool if the opportunity came up.
The report states that he would take any offer that came his way seriously as he would relish the opportunity to return to the Premier League if he was made a good offer.
When Medel first arrived in the Premier League from Sevilla, he brought with him a reputation as an ill-tempered hothead that lacked discipline.
However, he featured in 35 of Cardiff’s games in the top flight and turned out to be one of the club’s better performers, though he still couldn’t keep them from returning to the Championship at the first time of asking.
