The Mail suggest that Robin van Persie is heading for the exit, while Javier Hernandez has also been told that he can leave the club this summer (via Manchester Evening News), meaning that Louis van Gaal is in desperate need of bolstering his options ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
And while the Mail report that the Red Devils are keen on marquee names like Thomas Muller, the Senegalese international is attracting their interest after an impressive first year in England.
After failing to find the net on his debut, he went on to score in seven consecutive games – six of which came in the top flight – with one of the goals coming in a defeat to United.
He finished the league campaign with ten goals from 23 games, meaning that his value has reportedly rocketed to £15m one year after the Hammers paid just £3.5m to bring him to the club (via Mail).
