Raheem Sterling continued his excellent start to life as a Manchester City player by scoring a wonderful goal during the club’s pre-season clash with Vietnam.
The former Liverpool man opened his account for Manuel Pellegrini’s men with a tidy finish three minutes into his debut, and followed it up with an even better goal against their Asian opponents.
Some neat footwork from David Silva resulted in the ball being put into the winger’s path on the edge of the box. He took just one touch to powerfully-place his shot into the top corner.
He’d add a second in the first-half as City went 4-0 up, but it will be his first that demonstrated why City spent £49m to bring him to the Etihad (via BBC Sport).
