Arsenal fans are already questioning Arsene Wenger’s inactivity in the transfer window so far, and those questions are about to get that much louder after learning that the club is the capital city’s only side worth £1billion.
A new study by Dr Tom Markham (via Sporting Intelligence) has revealed that The Gunners are the country’s only team worth over £1billion, which draws their city rivals Chelsea and Tottenham.

The model takes into account everything from net profit, revenue and wage to turnover ratio, and has revealed that Arsenal are worth £1,118bn, with their Emirates Stadium contributing significantly towards their wealth.
That puts the club in second place behind Manchester United, who top the table with a worth of £1.484bn.
In contrast, Chelsea are still lagging some way behind the top two, coming in at forth with a worth of £826million. This is mostly because Stamford Bridge makes little revenue and is holding them back.
Premier League new boys Sunderland are propping up the table with a worth of just £104m, and the bottom three is completed by Sunderland and Leicester.
