Arsenal have moved to deny rumours that forward Mesut Ozil is being linked with Turkish giants Besiktas this summer only for the player to admit that he does want to play in Turkey before he hangs up his boots, according to the Daily Express.
Reports emerged this week linking the playmaker with a move to Besiktas after the club’s former board member Erol Kaynar claiming talks had been held with the German’s agent.
However, in a post on their official Twitter account, Arsenal have confirmed that there is no truth in the rumours and highlighting his commitment to the cause for the season ahead.

“He is completely committed to the club. He is focussed on getting results,” they said.
But as a boyhood Fenerbahce fan, The Express claim that Ozil is open to the thought of playing in Turkey before he retires, saying: “In the future I want to wear a Fenerbahce shirt it would be an honour,” Ozil said
“Everyone knows I am a Fenerbahce fan.”
