Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown believes Chelsea have what it takes to snap up the signature of Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to the Metro.
The Blues already have the likes of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao on their books, but Keown believes a move for the Swede could be on the cards, especially as they are the only side that have all the necessary ingredients to pull the deal off.
And while both Arsenal and Manchester United have both been linked with a move for the 33-year-old, Keown can only see him joining one Premier League side should he depart the Parc des Princes.
“He’s always been ambitious and likes to tick boxes around Europe,” Keown told the Daily Mail.
“Now he might like to do it here. But unless he takes a drop in wages, it’s hard to see where he’ll go.
“I think the only place I could really see him would be Chelsea, especially if Diego Costa’s hamstring blows up.”
