Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado is undergoing a medical before he completes his move to Juventus, according to the Daily Express.
The Colombian is set to move to Juventus Stadium on a season-long loan, the Express report, following a turbulent spell in the Premier League.
His stunning performances for his country at last year’s World Cup and then for Fiorentina in the first part of last season forced Jose Mourinho to part with £23.3m to bring the 27-year-old to Stamford Bridge in January (via Express).
However, things have never quite worked out for Cuadrado, with his 13 appearances – of which, only four have been starts – failing to reap a single goal.
And while it appeared that he would be given the chance to prove himself this season when he was brought on during the game against Manchester City, the subsequent arrival of Pedro appeared to confirm that Mourinho had little confidence in the winger.
He will now be hoping to follow in Kevin De Bruyne’s footsteps and prove to the Special One that he was wrong to discard him.
