Juventus are reportedly interested in making a bid for Chelsea midfielder Ramires, according to the London Evening Standard.
Despite coming agonisingly close to claiming an incredible treble last season, Massimiliano Allegri is having to make large changes to his squad ahead of the new campaign.
Arturo Vidal has moved to Bayern Munich while Andrea Pirlo has joined former Blues hero Frank Lampard in MLS with New York City FC. While the Old Lady have added Sami Khedira, the Evening Standard report that the former Real Madrid man is out for the opening months of the season with a thigh injury.
Although Allegri is arguably trying to replace the irreplaceable in trying to find someone to fill the void left by Pirlo and Vidal, he is hoping that the Brazilian will help make the transition easier.
However, the Evening Standard suggest that Jose Mourinho would be against the sale of the 28-year-old, despite the fact that he does not seem to be an automatic starter at Stamford Bridge.
He does however, bring a versatility that makes him one of the few men in Mourinho’s squad that is capable of playing as part of the front three that sit just behind the striker, or in a deeper role, protecting the back four.
