Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho is set to demand an exit from the club this summer after being left in the lurch by manager Brendan Rodgers, according to the Daily Mirror reports.
The France international has not featured for The Reds yet this season and has already been linked with a move to the likes of Bayer Leverkusen and Roma.
Both moves, which would be loan deals, would give the former Paris Saint Germain centre-back the opportunity to play Champions League football this season in the build up to the European Championships this summer, where he hopes to be selected for the host nation.
As it stands Leverkusen are the favourites to land his signature, and he would likely welcome the chance to rebuild his career after failing to gain a regular foothold in the Liverpool starting XI.
