The agent of Bayern Munich forward Mario Gotze has suggested that the player could make a move overseas if a good offer were to come in for him before the close of the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Express.
The Germany international has been linked with a move to the Premier League over the summer (via The Express)with both Arsenal and Manchester United tipped as favourites to land his signature.
It is believed that the 23-year-old endures a difficult relationship with manager Pep Guardiola (via Daily Mail), thus giving rise to rumours that he will be on the way out soon.
Gotze has asked the Spaniard to communicate with him more by saying: “It will work out if Guardiola talks to me more often. I’m going to let everything come to me. Anything beyond that, we’ll see” (via The Express).
But now the player’s agent Volker Struth has suggested that there is a very real possibility of the player making a departure from the Alianz Arena sooner than expected.
Speaking with Italian site Tuttosport he said: “Mario has made it clear that his last two seasons have not been idyllic.
“However, it’s also true that no club has come forward with an offer. Bayern have not ruled out a possible transfer, just as we won’t rule out any possible opportunity, to stay or go abroad.”
“There’s still a long way to go until the end of the transfer window, so anything can still happen.”
