Manchester United have reportedly asked Spanish giants Real Madrid to include goalkeeper Keylor Navas in the deal that could see David de Gea head in the opposite direction, according to Marca.
The deal to take de Gea back to Madrid looks as though it will go right down to the wire, and the Red Devils have offered Real a new solution to help push the deal through sooner.
So far, United have rejected Real’s advances for the 24-year-old, and have stood firm on their €40m asking price.
Madrid feel the goalkeeper’s valuation stands somewhere closer to £13m with him being out of contract in just under a year’s time.
But the Spanish press are now reporting that Unite may be willing to settle for a fee of €30m plus Costa Rican international Keylor Navas.
Even if de Gea moves on, United would still have Victor Valdes and Sergio Romero at their disposal.
