Manchester United have made an astonishing four moves for Real Madrid players this summer, all of which have been rejected by the Spanish giants, according to the Metro.
A report in the Daily Express has claimed that the Red Devils have made approaches for Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos, all to no avail.
Earlier today we reported that United have also had two separate £100m bids for winger Gareth Bale knocked back by Florentino Perez and co.
United may have already added the likes of Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin, Sergio Romero, Matteo Darmian and Bastian Schweinsteiger, but Louis van Gaal is still keen to bring in further quality to the side in order to make a sustained challenge for the Premier League title this season.
And despite their fruitless efforts to bring in some of La Liga’s finest, it remains to be seen whether they will return to make another offer before the end of the transfer window.
