Tottenham are well on their way to securing two more signings before the transfer window closes, after reports suggested that progress was being made in their attempts to bring Saido Berahino and Yannick Bolasie to White Hart Lane.
According to the Daily Express, Mauricio Pochettino’s men have already had a bid rejected by West Brom for their striker. However, Spurs plan to make an improved £21m offer.
And after Tony Pulis confirmed that the 22-year-old had been left out of the matchday squad to face Chelsea at the weekend, as he had been unsettled by speculation (via Express), it appears that Berahino is seriously thinking about making the switch to the capital. That may mean that a deal will practically be a formality once a fee is agreed.
The Daily Express are claiming that the club are also holding talks with Crystal Palace regarding Bolasie, with a fee of nearly £20m being mooted.
