Chelsea target Marquinhos is said to be ready to force a move away from Paris Saint Germain after growing unsettled at the club, the Metro reports.
The Metro states that the young Brazilian international had been the subject of a £30.6m bid from The Blues over the summer, which was knocked back by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Chelsea have since brought in Papy Djilobodji from Nantes and Reading’s Michael Hector (via Metro) but now a report in French publication Le 10 Sport believe that Jose Mourinho could have the opportunity to bring Marquinhos to Stamford Bridge in the very near future.
Le 10 Sport claim that manager Laurent Blanc told the 21-year-old that he would be allowed to leave should he not feature in any of the club’s early season games.
He has only featured for a total of 10 minutes so far this season, but has remained a PSG player, though it now looks as though he is ready to force a move away should his situation not change.
