Galatasaray are hoping to prize England international winger away from Arsenal, according to a report in the Daily Express.
The Daily Mirror has hinted that the Turkish giants have made an enquiry into the player’s availability with a French agent said to have been given permission to speak to the 22-year-old about a possible move.
Oxlade-Chamberlain still has three years left to run on his current deal with the North London club, but Galatasaray are said to be ‘deadly serious’ about making a move for his signature and have claimed that they have the necessary funds to complete the deal.
Turkish clubs have been more than active during the summer window and this latest news represents a huge statement for Turkish football.
However, the Turkish window closed on Monday, so there is no danger of the deal going through today, with this clearly being a move to look out for in the future.
Whether the player will want to leave the country, let alone the club, remains to be seen.
