Liverpool new boy Nathaniel Clyne is set to kick up his relationship with manager Brendan Rodgers by moving next door and becoming his neighbour, according to the Daily Express.
Clyne made the £12.5m move to Anfield this summer to replace former England international Glen Johnson, and has so far made a promising start to his career in Merseyside by helping to keep three clean sheets from four games.
But the 24-year-old is still yet to settle in the area, though that could be about to change after The Express explained that has been eyeing up a £600,000 house next to Rodgers’ Merseyside base, a £3m mansion that used to belong to former captain Steven Gerrard.
A source told The Sun: “Nathaniel loves the property next to Brendan.
“A lot of the players settle down in Formby and Nathaniel really wants to put some roots down in the area and stick around for a while.
“But he’ll have to keep the partying to a minimum with his boss looking over the garden fence.”
