Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly looking into the possibility of making a double move for two of Turkey’s biggest midfield talents, according to the Metro.
With the likes of Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini all suffering early season injuries and falling out of form, Wenger is keen to strengthen his midfield in the upcoming January transfer window.
A report in Spanish publication Fichajes.com claims that one name Wenger is targeting is a former young Gooner.
Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup, who left the Gunners back in 2012, has been impressing with the Istanbul-based club, and now Wenger is watching the 23-year-old with great interest.
In addition to that, Wenger is also believed to be keen on a move for Ozyakup’s Besiktas team-mate and former Chelsea winger Gokhan Tore, 23, to further boost their attacking options.
