Chelsea look set to announce that popular midfielder Ramires has put pen-to-paper on a new four-year contract, according to the Metro.
According to a report in the London Evening Standard, the Brazilian international has agreed a new deal to stay at Stamford Bridge for another four years and boosting his salary over £70,000-per-week.
The 28-year-old linked up with The Blues back in 2010 when he joined from Portuguese giants Benfica, and has gone on to make a total of 226 appearances that have seen him collect winner’s medals for the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup along the way.
Ramiers looked briefly to be on his way out of Chelsea over the summer, with Serie A champions Juventus linked with his signature (via Daily Mail), but ultimately Jose Mourinho relented from their advances to keep him in West London.
