New Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be keen on bringing in striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from former club Borussia Dortmund, so much so that the Metro claim he will make him his top transfer target ahead of the January transfer window.
Aubameyang has been in phenomenal form so far this season, and has bagged 11 goals in 10 games already, and Klopp will tell Anfield chiefs to launch a £35m bid to land his services (via Metro).
The Gabonese international is presently on one of the hottest scoring streaks of his career and now has the impressive record of finding the net once for every two starts.
A report in The Sun claims that Klopp is so desperate to bring him to Anfield that he will pay the £35m release clause installed in his contract that still has until 2018 to run.
An unnamed source told The Sun said: “An offer of joining Liverpool now Jurgen is there would be an attractive proposition.”
