Liverpool have been linked with moves for Serie A duo of Leandro Paredes and Piotr Zielinski, according to reports.
Coincidentally, both players are currently plying their trades for Serie A club Empoli on loan moves.
Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb reports that following their failure to sign Alex Teixeira, the Reds have turned their attention to 21-year-old Leandro Paredes. The Argentina midfielder is currently on loan at Empoli from AS Roma and has impressed with his performances this season.
He has scored one goal and provided one assist for his side this season and has played a vital role in his team’s strong performances in Italian league this year.
Meanwhile, Goal.com reports that the Merseysiders are also interested in Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
The Polish international has impressed manager Jurgen Klopp, and the Reds are contemplating a £11m bid for his services.
Like Paredes, he’s also currently playing for Empoli on a loan move. He has scored two goals and provided five assists for his side in the current season.
His performances, this season, have also attracted the attentions of Serie A heavyweights Juventus and Napoli.
