Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini seems to have lost the backing of club fans, with a potential move to Milan hailed as a great solution.
The Belgian arrived in a £27.5 million deal from Everton in 2013, but has failed to cement his spot in United’s first team. “Big Fella” has received a lot of criticism for his performances recently and has been reduced to a scapegoat for the Red Devil’s failings this season, winning just three times with Fellaini playing.
According to the latest reports (like the one by Sky Sports), he is in talks with Serie A club AC Milan over a possible £20m January move, although United would prefer an initial loan deal and will propose this when Milan’s joint chief executive Adriano Galliani will meets with Fellaini’s agent Luciano D’Onofrio this week.
The 28-year-old has appeared in 73 matches for the Red Devils since joining them three years ago. He has scored nine goals and registered six assists over that span.
However, the news of a possible transfer for Fellaini has made United fans a happy bunch.
Xmas has just ended but if Fellaini leaves Manchester United it would feel like Christmas all over again

How good will January be if Fellaini is shipped out to Italy

I hold Fellaini in the same regard as Young tbh. Decent squad players but neither should really be starting for #mufc regularly.

Selling Fellaini this month would be fantastic, but seriously have we found someone to replace him with? We just making the squad smaller.

Ian Wright: “You can see that there is a certain quality and standard that have come through Manchester United. Fellaini doesn’t meet it.”

Dear AC Milan, £20 million is nothing to you. Please just buy Fellaini off our hands. Thank you. Regards, A Fed Up Red.

So Milan are apparently interested in signing Fellaini. I will personally drive him there if it helps in any way to push the deal through.
