Fulham striker Moussa Dembele is undergoing a medical ahead of a permanent move with Tottenham, according to reports.
Sky Sports claim that all parties have reached an agreement on the transfer, and the striker will be loaned back to the Championship club till the end of the season.
He signed for the Cottagers from Paris Saint-Germain as a 16-year old in 2012, but only managed to cement his spot in the first-team during the current season.
After failing to find the net for last two seasons, he has scored nine goals in 26 appearances this season.
The Cottagers were reportedly reluctant to let go of their striker, but his refusal to sign a new contract has forced their hands. Dembele is currently in the last year of his contract and could have walked away from the club for free in the summer.
Sky Sports have failed to report a transfer fee, but the BBC claim that the transfer will cost Spurs £5 million.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has been looking for a striker to play back-up to Harry Kane for some time now and it looks like he has finally got his man.
To clarify: Moussa Dembele is in no way related to the Spurs’ Mousa Dembele.
