Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier looks set to be on his way out of the club following his insulting comments towards manager Laurent Blanc and his club team-mates on a live question-and-answer session on Periscope.
The 23-year old has been suspended by the club for the comments he made prior to the Champions League clash with Chelsea. He is still waiting to hear if he will face any further punishment, but it looks certain that he will be sold during the summer transfer window.
French Publication L’Equipe (via Daily Express) reports that Arsenal are interested in signing the player for a reported fee of £11.7 million. The Gunners previously attempted to sign the Ivory Coast international, but he ended up signing for the Ligue 1 club last year.
Wenger is preparing for the eventual departure of Mathieu Debuchy and believes Aurier can prove to be a capable backup option to Hector Bellerin.
He initially signed for PSG on a loan deal in 2014 and later signed a permanent deal on a four-year contract in April 2015.
