Will he join Manchester United or not? That’s been the question for months about José Mourinho. But now, there looks to be a confirmation that the Portuguese will in fact coach the Red Devils, according to Football Italia.
The Special One flew in at Linate Airport on Saturday to attend Inter’s encounter with Sampdoria at the San Siro. The Nerazzurri, who were coached by Mourinho from 2008 to 2010 and famously won the treble in his final season, won 3-1 thanks to goals from Danilo D’Ambrosio, Miranda and Mauro Icardi.
Only this week, Mourinho expressed his fondness for Inter President and former boss Massimo Moratti, spurring a call from Red Devils’ man Ed Woodward to Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes in order to check if the Portuguese will still be available this summer.
However, the former Chelsea coach stressed that he would not be returning to Serie A any time soon.
But it seems that Mourinho did disclose his future plans to Moratti, as his sister and fellow Inter director Bedy Moratti was asked about Mourinho’s future.
“He’s happy now, he’s going to Manchester,” she smiled.

Mourinho was also joined by former Brazilian star Ronaldo and Inter legend Javier Zanetti to watch the game.
