For football clubs, it’s important to invest in young talent. Like Manchester United spending on Anthony Martial and Tottenham landing Dele Alli.
Both have been solid buys for their respective Premier League clubs, as they are leading all Under-20 players in the five biggest European leagues: England, Italy, France, Spain and Germany.
Alli and Martial have both collected 11 “scoring points”, which sums up their total goals and assists. The Spurs’ starlet has hit the net seven times, while providing four assists. The Frenchman sits at six goals and five assists in his first Premier League season.
Paraguayan talent Antonio Sanabria comes close after scoring ten goals for Primera Division side Sporting Gijon, on loan from Italian giants AS Roma.
Schalke 04’s Leroy Sane comes in at number four with nine “scoring points”, scoring five goals and registering four assists, with Stuttgart’s Tim Werner completing the top five, providing four goals and four assists.
Espanyol’s Marco Asensio, who’s on loan from Real Madrid, has been the top assist man. The Spaniard has provided eight assists this season.
Five players have collected seven “scoring points” so far. Those are Marseille’s Georges-Kevin N’Koudou (five goals and two assists), Granada’s Isaac Success (four goals and three assist), Schalke’s Max Meyer (three goals and four assists), Lazio’s Keita Balde (three goals and four assists) and Bordeaux’s Enzo Crivelli ((three goals and four assists).
