Chelsea are set to battle with Juventus for AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to the latest reports.
It has been claimed that Antonio Conte, who is set to take charge of Chelsea in summer, wants the Belgian international to play for him at Stamford Bridge.
Now, Juventus have also entered the pursuit of the 27-year old midfielder, and they are set to battle it out with the West London club in the summer transfer window.
Daily Mail claims that the Turin club see Nainggolan as the perfect replacement for Paul Pogba, who is expected to depart from Old Lady in summer. Incidentally, Chelsea are also one of the clubs interested in a summer move for the Frenchman.
Nainggolan played for Italian clubs Piacenza and Cagliari before arriving at Roma in January 2014 on a loan deal. He signed a permanent deal with the capital club in 2015 for a transfer fee believed to be £7.1 million.
He has scored ten goals in 80 league appearances during his time with the Lupi and is currently valued at £25 million by Serie A’s number three.
