The Premier League biggest clubs have been linked with a number of transfer rumours this season, and it looks like they are not done being active on the market.
Chelsea have begun talks with Miralem Pjanic regarding a summer move to Stamford Bridge, with the Blues willing to pay the Roma midfielder’s £31 million buyout clause, according to The Times.
It is understood that Chelsea’s director and lead negotiator, Marina Granovskaia, has already made contact with Pjanic’s advisers ahead of a possible summer move for the 25-year-old creative midfielder.
Meanwhile, the Blues have reignited their interest in Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, according to Italian sports news outlet Calciomercato. The France international is valued at £38.5 million by the Spanish giants.
The 24-year-old, who joined Atletico in a £23 million deal from Real Sociedad in 2014, has scored 20 goals in 36 games this season. The Blues are also considering a move for Juventus’ striker Alvaro Morata, who’s a well-known player to likely new coach Antonio Conte.
Earlier this month, Chelsea were linked with the likes of Gonzalo Higuain, Sergio Busquet and Scott Dann as well.
