Chelsea will put midfielder Oscar on the transfer list in the summer, according to an exclusive report by the Times.
The report claims that Antonio Conte, who will take charge of the club in the summer, wants to sell the Brazilian to finance an overhaul of the Blues squad.
The Italian manager intends to keep the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Eden Hazard and Willian at the club, and hence, Oscar is the most viable option left to generate funds in the transfer market.
The Brazilian has attracted interests from Chinese Premier League clubs and Serie A giants Juventus recently. He arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2012, and has made 120 league appearances for the West London club.
Meanwhile, according to a report in Italian publication La Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Daily Star), AS Roma have turned down Chelsea’s initial bid of £24.7 million for midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
The Rome-based club are reportedly holding out for £35 million for the Belgian midfielder. The 27-year-old midfielder, who signed a five-year contract with Roma last summer, is the top transfer target for Conte.
