Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United has been ruled out by his mother. The former United star has been linked with a return to Old Trafford for several seasons now.
However, now it appears that the Portuguese international will be staying put at Santiago Bernabeu. Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, has claimed that her son is happy at his current club and has no intention to move.
“Cristiano is happy here, he would like to finish his career at Real Madrid,” Dolores said at the launch of her biography.
Spanish media has also linked Ronaldo with a move to Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain recently, but these comments suggest that even that move will be a no-go.
Manchester United have once again been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to Daily Mail, the Red Devils maintain a serious interest in the Gabon international and are planning a £70million summer swoop for him.
Aubameyang has been in spectacular form for the Bundesliga club this season and has scored 34 goals in 41 games in all competitions.
The report claims that Real Madrid and Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the forward.
