Arsenal have reportedly completed the signing of midfielder Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
Multiple sources have confirmed that the Swiss international has undergone a medical in London ahead of a £30 million move. The quoted transfer fee reportedly contains £5 million in bonus clauses.
The 23-year-old was linked with a move to the North London club for a better part of last season and if the latest reports are to be believed he will be plying his trade at the Emirates Stadium from next season onwards.
Earlier on Friday, the news broke on Twitter that Xhaka was in London to finalize his move to The Gunners. Later, the news was confirmed by newspapers such as The Independent, The Guardian, The Telegraph, and so on.
A while later, reliable BBC journalist David Ornstein gave his confirmation of the deal, who is said to be a reliable source when it comes to Arsenal related news.

The feeling among Arsenal fans is that the deal is as good as done and they were pretty excited by the signing of the no-nonsense midfielder on Twitter:
One of the things I like most about the Xhaka signing is that he is one of those “natural leaders” we always seem to lack.

Been following this deal closely from the off as I wanted someone of Xhaka’s ilk in the centre of the park. Will be a top signing. #afc

I’ve never seen Granit Xhaka play football but he is a strong leader of men, a deep-lying dictator & a multi-range distributor. Obviously.

Only one player has earned more red cards than Granit Xhaka (five) over the last 3 seasons in the top five leagues. Three came in 2015-16
