Arsenal frontman Olivier Giroud has been struggling with his form at the North London club. The French striker’s last league goal came in the 3-3 draw with Liverpool in January, and he has now gone 15 games without scoring in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old has attracted severe criticism from the fans due to his poor form and has been a subject of boos during games at the Emirates Stadium.
However, the struggling striker is still not short of suitors in the transfer market and could be given a way out of North London by Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.
Foot Mercato claims that Wolfsburg are set to offer a £100,000-a-week contract to Giroud to lure him to Germany. The German club recently sacked former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner and are said to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements in the transfer market.
Giroud arrived at Emirates Stadium in a £9.6 million move from Ligue 1 club Montpellier in 2012. He has scored 78 goals for the Gunners in all competitions during his time with in North London.
His current contract with Arsenal runs until 2018 and Italian giants Juventus are also said to have some interest.
