Chelsea are not giving up on their pursuit of Everton duo Romelu Lukaku and John Stones if the latest reports are to be believed.
The Blues have been strongly linked with both players recently and according to Belgian source Het Laatste Nieuws (via Metro), they have already contacted Everton to discuss the potential transfers.
Both players have a lot of suitors in the transfer market, and it won’t be an easy task for the West London club to secure their signings. Chelsea tried to sign Stones last summer, but their multiple bids for the centre-back were turned down by the Toffees.
Meanwhile, Lukaku moved to Everton from Chelsea on a permanent deal in 2014, but his recent performances have attracted interests from a number of clubs, including his former one.
Lukaku’s camp has also recently made noise about the player’s desire to play Champions League football and it seems plausible that he will be leaving Goodison Park in the summer.
The likes of Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Juventus are also said to be interested in the Belgium international.
