Liverpool have been linked with a shock move for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.
The Reds have been linked with a host of goalkeepers ahead of the summer transfer window, and the England international is the latest name to feature on that list.
According to France Football (via Daily Express), Man City’s incoming manager Pep Guardiola wants Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen to be his number one goalkeeper at the Etihad Stadium next season.
Ter Stegen ‘s arrival could see Joe Hart losing his number one spot at the club, and the 29-year-old is expected to look for a move elsewhere in search of regular first-team football.
The report claims that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is aware of the situation and wants to bring Hart to Anfield. The German manager is also on a lookout for a new keeper and he has also been previously linked with a move for Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Liverpool’s current number-one keeper Simon Mignolet signed a new long-term deal with the club earlier this season, but he is not guaranteed of the spot next season.
