On Thursday, France Football reported that Arsenal have met representatives of Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante to discuss a potential summer move.
Now, L’Equipe are reporting that Manchester City have met with the representatives of the France midfielder twice this week.
The report states that people from Kante’s camp were in Manchester on Thursday to discuss a potential move with the club board.
City’s incoming manager Pep Guardiola is said to be an admirer of the Premier League winner and wants him to play for the Citizens next season.
The 25-year-old, who arrived in a £5.6 million move from French club Caen last summer, reportedly has a £20 million release clause in his agreement.
The Foxes have stated their desire to hold onto their key players in the summer, but it appears that Kante won’t be playing at the King Power Stadium next season.
Kante has played a significant role in Leicester’s success this season and has attracted a lot of interest from major clubs around Europe. His performances have earned him a spot in Didier Deschamps’ national squad for Euro 2016.
